If you have not downloaded FH Switch yet, start from 1. Common Steps.

In the top tab bar, choose Claude.

Click Add Provider. On the new provider page, keep Claude Provider selected.

Open 4. Create an API key and create an FHRouter API key for Claude Code, then copy the key from the dashboard.

In the provider configuration form, fill in FHRouter as shown, paste the API key you copied, use https://api.fhrouter.com/ as the endpoint, then click Add.

Open Settings, go to the General page, and enable both Apply to Claude Code extension and Skip Claude Code first-run confirmation.

After the provider is added, return to the main screen and switch to the FHRouter entry. When the success message appears and the provider shows as active, the configuration is in place.

Launch Claude the way you normally use it. If it opens and replies normally, the setup is complete.

VS Code Extension

Open VS Code and start a Claude session from the extension. If it opens and replies normally, the setup is complete.

Claude Code CLI

Run claude in your terminal. If the chat opens and replies normally, the setup is complete.

Usage note

Some routes do not support complete third-party test calls inside the switcher itself. The final check should always be done inside Claude Code with a real prompt.

After switching providers, you may need to fully close and reopen Claude Code or the Claude Code extension before the new settings take effect.
