Configure Kilocode in VS Code

1. In the VS Code extensions panel, search for `Kilo Code` and install the extension published by `kilocode.ai`

2. Open the Kilocode panel and click `Settings`

3. Complete the configuration as shown below

API Provider: OpenAI Compatible (Responses)
Base URL: https://api.fhrouter.com/v1
API Key: enter the token from ApiKey Management
Model: choose gpt-5.5, gpt-5.4, or another supported GPT model

Kilo Code advanced settings

Check Enable Reasoning Effort and choose any value
Max Output Tokens: keep the default -1 value, or enter 128000
Context Window Size: enter 400000
Check Prompt Caching if your version supports it
The remaining Input/Output Price fields are optional
Set Cache Reads/Writes Price to 0 if the extension requires a value

5. Click `Save`, return to the extension home page, choose the profile you just configured, and start using it
